
Lauryn Charliah Allums
Lauryn "Charliah" Allums is an aspiring writer-director, producer, and actor focused on scripted television and film. As a recent NYU Film and TV graduate and Maura Mandt Storytelling Scholarship recipient, she aims to assist a production company or industry professional while working on projects. She also posts content on her YouTube Channel, which has over 1,000 subscribers.

During her undergraduate career, she gained experience working with renowned organizations for Marvel Studios, MGM, Omaha Productions, Stay Gold Features, New York Film Academy (NYFA), and NYU during her undergrad career. In 2023, she was a showrunner for an NYU web series titled "Quarter-Life Crisis." At the beginning of 2025, she directed her thesis film "Touching", which she plans to submit to upcoming film festivals this fall.
Looking ahead, Lauryn is committed to supporting and developing projects highlighting underrepresented voices and stories.
