About Charliah.

Lauryn Charliah Allums is an aspiring showrunner, director, filmmaker, and overall artist. She has been creating for YouTube for years. She has reached more than 1,000 subscribers for her YouTube Channel: Charliah by creating videos based on films, television shows, and various media topics. Charliah is studying film and television at New York University Tisch School of the Arts, where she has earned the first Maura Mandt Storytelling Scholarship. While in school she's worked as a Health and Safety Scheduler for Marvel Studios on several productions. Charliah has also worked as a Health and Safety Assistant Supervisor for Creed III and a creative intern for Omaha Productions. Following her internship with Omaha, creating pitch decks and assisting with research, Charliah acted as a technical assistant at Iris Cantor Film Center. During the summer, she balanced her creative work with a Summer Resident Assistant role at NYU Palladium Residence Hall and a Teen Camp Assistant role at New York Film Academy's Summer Camp. In her final year at NYU, she is working towards writing and directing her horror thesis film among directing, producing, and writing other projects rooted in underrepresented voices and stories.
